| Description | | A leisurely and easy walk through the bush along the shore north of American River to the site of a 19th century fish cannery. The walk passes through the domain of the rare glossy black cockatoo and sightings are not uncommon, mainly early in the morning and around twilight. Many other examples of native fauna and flora can be seen.The trail is open all year and there are no fees for its use. You should take water, wear walking boots or shoes and use sunscreen. An informative sign is to be found at the start of the trail. |
