Clayton Bay Foreshore Walking Trail| Location |  | Clayton Bay | | Description | | A special educational walk for all the family, starting with a boardwalk through reeds and unique Ramsar wetland vegetation and bird life. There is a picnic area with free electric BBQ’s and a public WC. Along the limestone cliff tops you can see across the Lower Murray River to Hindmarsh Island. Views are also available down to Goolwa, the Coorong Sandhill’s and toward Lake Alexandrina. Walk down alongside Dunn’s Lagoon, which has a special ecosystem with endangered fish species and significant bird life. Along the trail are a variety of interpretative signs. A licensed restaurant provides snacks or restaurant meals and the Caravan park offers accommodation.
